UNDERSTANDING THE DIVINE MYSTERY OF GRACE

“Grace grace, God’s grace
Grace that will Pardon and Cleance within
Grace grace, God’s grace
Grace that is greater than all our sins”

Before you continue reading, i want you to pray this short prayer point carefully and with violent anger for the next two minutes :
“OH MY FATHER!! EVERY ALTER BUILT AGAINST MY DESTINY, CATCH FIRE IN JESUS NAME!!

Hello dear reader, how are you? Hope you have been thanking God for his grace and favour upon your live? Well i just mentioned grace! Most times, even we do mention it in our day to day activities. Today, i will briefly be talking about grace and if i cannot finish discussing it today, i will continue next time. Grace simply means Unmerited favour. Help, advantage, support that we do not merit in any way. That is the meaning of Divine grace. Grace is the description of God’s forgiving mercy. In Romans 11:6; we descover that God’s forgiving mercy is shown to us not by the works of our hands but by “grace” alone. One thing most of us dont understand is that we are called and saved by this ‘grace’; Acts 15:11 describes ‘grace’ as the source of Salvation. Romans 3:24 says: “Being justified freely by His ‘grace’ through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.”So, grace is a source of devine justification. Ephesians 1:7 makes us to understand that we are reddemed through his blood and our sins are forgiven according to the riches of His ‘grace’. Therefore, we can finally describe ‘grace’ as a description of God’s favour, God’s forgiving Mercy , God’s word and God’s eternal life.
Also, we can see Grace as a source of Salvation, Call of God, Faith, Justification, Forgiveness and Consolation. And just like i said earlier, it is a description of God’s Unlimited Favour. One funny thing about ‘grace’ is that it is undeserved. Well, that is why it is called ‘grace’ . When we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Now, that is grace. Imagine you giving out just one of your own kidneys to a rich man who imprisoned your only son for a crime he did not commit. how possible is that?? Now, we get to undersand the concept of grace when we look at it from the simulated eyeballs of God. When we were sinners, that is when we were making him sad, displeasing Him, disobeying Him, making Him unhappy, showing what a perfect disappointment we were, he sent his ONLY son to come and die for us and was away all our sins. Isaiah 1:18 says “ Though your sins be as scalet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson they shall be as wool.” Now, that is grace. Grace is that favour we receive from God when we are not even worth it. Grace is God’s forgiving mercy. Grace allows us to go back to God when we have sinned and ask him sincerely for forgiveness and he will grant it unto us. Grace is total freedom from the death penalty of breaking His law. Grace is the ability to get a second chance and even a third one , inshort, as many chances as He wishes to give to you. Now, that is grace.
